It is the most reliable and economic system of anti-frost protection control of surfaces available. The regulator is placed in the switchboard on a DIN strip (6 modules) and it evaluates the current conditions in the monitored area (in the eaves trough, outdoor area) using a temperature and humidity sensor. Heating / warming (heating cables or heating mats) is begun only if the regulator simultaneously detects a drop in temperature below the set value and the presence of humidity – water, snow or ice. The temperature and humidity sensors for the protection of eaves troughs are different from those for the protection of outdoor areas and therefore they are not part of the regulator – see Sensors for open areas and Sensors for eaves troughs and downspouts.
