Peak shaving accumulation stations can be used to reduce the maximum reserved power by spreading the consumption over 24 hours, to reduce the ¼ hour peak, to provide protection and energy backup against outages causing delays and damage to production processes and also to maximize the use of energy from photovoltaics. SAS can be supplied as an in-house solution or in an outdoor container.
